FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions.

About the Brand.

Who are your founders?

SickFit LLC was started by Paden and Trace Sickles, a brother and sister duo. Paden runs the business side and Trace runs the marketing and sales side.

What does SickFit mean?

Sick- is of course short for Sickles. We take pride in our last name and hope to make this venture a successful family business. We are looking forward to the growth of our business, while creating something for future generations to own as well.

Fit - is short for Fitness, which can be defined as being healthy and strong. We believe that everyone has an inner athlete within them, and everyone’s ultimate goal is to be healthy, regardless of where they are on their fitness journey.

Who designed the SickFit logo?

The SickFit logo was essentially designed by Trace Sickles. The idea derived from our family name, and we wanted to keep it simple enough to go on a rivet. It didn’t take long for him to create the perfect design that we both loved!

But why socks?

Socks, while simple, are a vital part of our everyday lives. In the winter, we want to keep our feet warm but not to the point we force dehydration. In the summer, we need a cool breathable sock that is not drenched when we take it off. When it's raining or when you are hiking, we wanted the sock that would stay dry and prevent blisters. Yes, you read that right we have a completely waterproof sock. We wanted to create quality socks that protect your feet no matter the weather or activity. At SickFit, we believe that if you protect your feet with proper socks, you are already preventing injuries on your lower extremities.

Do you plan on extending the brand SickFit beyond socks?

Absolutely! We currently offer drone services, graphic design, and business consulting - as we grow and expand. It may seem that you are supporting a small business but in reality, you are supporting a dream. We are beyond grateful for every purchase.

Orders & Shipping.

Can I order socks that are out of stock? Many of our socks can be made to order and an estimated delivery date will be shown on the product page.

Any ‘Sold Out’ item cannot be bought.

How will you ship my socks?

We use USPS and UPS for orders within the United States

For overseas orders we use DHL express.

Orders that are in stock are generally shipped on Mondays and Fridays.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen good. Upon delivery confirmation receipt of goods is at the customers discretion.

Returns.

Can I return my socks if they don’t fit etc?

If your socks are unworn and the labels are still attached - yes, you can. To return the socks just package them back up. However, the socks may not be returned if the seal on the socks is broken or the package has been opened simply for health protection and hygiene reasons.

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods back to us. We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged return shipments. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of goods or proof of received return delivery.

How can you justify the price of your socks?

We make every effort to keep our prices reasonable for premium hand-crafted socks, and in comparison to others we are not the most expensive.

Certainly you can pay much less for socks. But our socks are made by men and women who have been making socks pretty much all their working lives. And we only use the best threads and fibers from the best mills in the world.

We like to make socks that last, over time an expensive purchase becomes an investment and great value for money. We believe these are fair prices for our customers to pay given the quality of materials and the craftsmanship that goes into making each pair. We don’t charge for the love. That comes for free.

What happens if my socks fail?

We believe in quality and we believe a quality product should stand the test of time. So we stand by our products. So if you are not satisfied with one of our products at the time you receive it, please return it unworn within 10 days and we will exchange it or refund you, depending on what you want.

If one of our products is faulty, we will replace it or refund you. Damage due to wear and tear can be negotiated; we just want to keep style and comfort reimagined.

Washing & Alterations.

How should I wash my socks?

Keep it simple, cold water machine wash. We personally like to turn them inside out to truly clean the threads in each sock.
